July is here, and while there’s still plenty of summer left, the countdown to the first day of school is officially on! The 2026-27 school year begins Wednesday, July 29, and we’re excited to welcome our students back for another incredible year.

To help your family prepare, here’s everything you need to know for the month ahead.

Back to School Info:

Registration

New Student & Kindergarten Registration

Registration for students new to Camden Fairview and incoming kindergarten students is open now. Families should complete online registration as soon as possible and upload all required documents, including kindergarten physical forms, to help ensure classroom placement before the first day of school.

Returning Student Registration

Returning student online registration opens the week of July 13. Snapcodes will be emailed and mailed to families.

Backpack Reminder (CFMS & CFHS Families)

Students in grades 6-12 are required to use clear or mesh backpacks while on campus.

Each student-athlete may bring one athletic bag for sports equipment or uniforms. However, a regular backpack may not be used as an athletic bag unless it is provided by the District to the student-athlete. Athletic bags are subject to inspection.

Camp focuses on kindergarten readiness, classroom routines, and helping students become comfortable before the first day of school.

Parents are also invited to attend a Kindergarten Parent Session each day from 11:15-11:45 AM.

Kindergarten Physicals & Immunizations

Incoming students must have required immunizations and a current kindergarten physical completed before school begins. For more information, review immunization requirements on our website.

Cardinal Athletics:

7th-12th Grade Free Physicals | July 14 & 15

CFSD students in grades 7-12 who plan to participate in athletics or band during the 2026-27 school year must have a current physical on file. We’re partnering with local medical providers to provide free physicals to CFHS and CFMS students on July 14 and 15.

Students who do not currently have a valid physical may continue participating in summer workouts through July 15.

Please bring the completed AAA-required current physical form and health history form to the physicals.

Lady Cardinal Basketball: Varsity Tryouts Set For July 6

Lady Cardinal Basketball Families: here is the calendar for the month of July. Please review it carefully and make note of all important dates and events.

Varsity Basketball Tryouts will be held on Monday, July 6, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Camden Fairview Gym. All athletes planning to try out are expected to be present and arrive on time.
