I am a graduate of Camden Fairview High School, and also Ouachita Baptist University.
I have a bachelors degree in elelmentary education (1-6 and P-4). I also have a technology endorsement for grades 5-6.
I am receiving training for the Take Flight Program which is a Dyslexia curriculum created by Texas Scottish Rite Hospital and Shelton Academic Reading Approach.
I am the academic and Dyslexia interventionist.
I began my teaching career in 1999 with the ABC program at Bearden CDC which is through F.A.C.T., Inc. (Families and Children Together). I left Bearden in 2003 and returned in 2004 as Program Manager.
After I left Bearden in 2005, I began teaching one of the ABC classrooms in Camden for South Central Service Cooperative.
In 2008, I was hired at Camden Fairview to teach 5th grade literacy.
My hobbies are spending time with my family, collecting Mickey Mouse, watching football (Razorbacks and Steelers), watching baseball (Atlanta Braves), and reading.
